All Starbucks employees (part-timers too) are eligible to enroll in Arizona State University’s online undergraduate programs free of charge. An immediate scholarship is granted to participants, covering 42% of tuition costs.

Student employees begin receiving reimbursements in their Starbucks paychecks six weeks after the end of each semester, and a counselor assists them in federal financial aid and student loan applications. (You can get FREE Starbucks coffee for a year too!)

Walmart is always in the news, and their recently announced student career program really stepped things up. Most of Walmart’s student employees are part of their new benefit program which commenced in June 2018.

This can be a deal-breaker in the list of jobs that help pay for college, as going to the University of Florida, Brandman University or Bellevue University will cost as low as $1 per day for Walmart employees. Walmart has partnered with Guild education which is a benefits platform.

All Walmart workers in the US will be eligible as soon as they’ve been with the company for 90 days. It applies to all part-time, full-time, and salaried employees. All they got to do is pay $1 a day and Walmart will cover the rest tuition fee and book costs.

Not only is Best Buy the customer’s favorite, but the workers there are more than satisfied. Best Buy sports a very young workforce and they cater to their all-around development.  The electronic appliance dealer believes in Karma.

Best Buy offers reimbursement of $3,500 for undergraduates and $5,250 for graduate coursework to its student workers. However, only full-time workers who work at least 32 hours a week are enrolled in this student welfare program.

High school level, college exam prep level, and undergraduate classes are generally accepted. As for graduate courses, Best Buy offers reimbursement if they’re in the field related to retail. Textbook costs may/may not be included.

‘Archways to Opportunity’ is a well-known employee welfare program for McDonald’s workers who are willing to educate themselves along with work. $5,250 tuition assistance is provided to Full-time Store Manager Trainees, Certified Swing Managers, Department Managers, and General Managers.

The only catch is that the McDonald’s employees opting for ‘Archways to Opportunity’ program should maintain a “Significant” performance rating throughout the course/program. The part-time employees are also eligible for $700 in assistance each year.
