GHA DISCOVERY: Earn up to $825 for Stays Across 10 Brands
The Global Hotel Alliance (GHA), a marketing group representing 50 small hotel brands and over 950 properties, has launched a revised version of its popular “10 brands” offer for its DISCOVERY loyalty program. Running from December 1, 2025, to May 31, 2026, this promotion encourages members to stay at different GHA brands, with the potential to earn up to $825 in DISCOVERY Dollars (D$). To qualify for the full reward, participants must complete stays of two or more nights at 10 distinct GHA brands within the promotional period. This offer is a more modest successor to a 2024 promotion that awarded $5,200 but required a $600 minimum spend per stay.
A significant benefit of the current offer is the removal of any minimum spend requirement per stay, providing greater flexibility. This makes the promotion particularly attractive in lower-cost countries, such as those in Asia, where the D$100 earned from each brand stay could potentially cover the entire room cost. Rewards are tiered, beginning with D$50 after a second brand stay, D$75 after a third, and then D$100 for each subsequent brand, culminating in $825 for completing all ten. Furthermore, participants earn base DISCOVERY Dollars on all eligible stays, and by staying at three different brands, they automatically achieve top-tier Titanium status, securing a 7% rebate on all subsequent bookings made during the promotion.
However, several conditions and limitations apply. Participants must register for the offer by February 28, 2026, via the GHA app or website, and all bookings must be made after December 1, 2025, necessitating the rebooking of any existing reservations. Stays must be completed by May 31, 2026, and only bookings made directly through GHA or relevant hotel websites/apps will count. Bonus D$ are only valid for six months. Achieving 10 different brands can be challenging, particularly in Western Europe, where specific brands like NH Hotels, NH Collection, and nhow are frustratingly treated as a single brand for offer purposes. Conversely, the recent addition of multiple Rotana brands significantly simplifies the challenge for travelers in the Middle East, as each Rotana brand counts individually towards the goal. Even if the full 10 brands are not met, members can still earn partial rewards starting from their second brand stay.
