Wells Fargo & Expedia Cards: Up to $600 Bonus!
Wells Fargo and Expedia have launched two new co-branded credit cards designed to boost Expedia's One Key loyalty program. The One Key Card and the One Key+ Card offer varying rewards and benefits tailored to different spending habits and travel preferences.
The One Key Card provides a $400 OneKeyCash signup bonus after spending $1,000 in the first three months. It earns 3% OneKeyCash on Expedia, Hotels.com, and Vrbo bookings; 3% at gas stations, grocery stores, and restaurants; and 1.5% on all other purchases. Cardholders automatically receive Silver tier status in the One Key program, with a path to Gold tier available through annual spending. The card includes no foreign transaction fees, cell phone protection, and various trip protections such as trip cancellation/interruption insurance and auto rental collision damage waiver. Mastercard World Elite benefits, including ID theft protection and global services, are also included.
The One Key+ Card offers a more lucrative $600 OneKeyCash signup bonus after spending $3,000 in the first three months. It shares the same earning structure as the One Key Card (3% on travel, 3% on gas/groceries/dining, 2% on other purchases), but automatically grants Gold tier status in the One Key program, with a path to Platinum tier available. Additional perks include a $100 OneKeyCash anniversary bonus, a statement credit of up to $100 for Global Entry® or TSA PreCheck®, and the same protective benefits and Mastercard World Elite features as the One Key Card. Both cards are available for applications nationally and offer increased benefits through August 5, 2025.
While these cards offer attractive rewards for frequent travelers and Expedia users, potential risks include the possibility of accumulating debt if spending exceeds repayment capabilities. Understanding the terms and conditions, including spending requirements for bonuses and annual fees (if any), is crucial before applying. The value of OneKeyCash and its redemption options should also be carefully considered.
