Capital One’s Flagship Lounge Opens at JFK

Capital One's largest lounge to date, a sprawling 13,500 square-foot space, opened at JFK's Terminal 4 on June 19th. This flagship lounge offers a premium airport experience, aiming to redefine standards at New York's busiest airport. The design incorporates iconic New York City elements, including a Manhattan-style bar, a Central Park-inspired dining area, and even a bodega-style deli counter. Unique features include an interactive cheesemonger experience and a “Midnight Snack” ritual, reflecting the city's vibrant 24/7 energy. The lounge boasts expansive tarmac views, a luxury shower suite with Dyson hairdryers and premium toiletries (reservable via QR code), seven private restrooms, a parent's room, filtered water stations, flight status displays, and ample power outlets. Access is primarily granted to Capital One Venture X, Venture X Business, Venture, and Spark Miles cardholders. However, significant changes to access policies are slated for February 1, 2026, impacting guest access and benefits for Venture X and Venture X Business cardholders. Currently, Venture X cardholders enjoy unlimited complimentary access for themselves and two guests, with additional guests costing $45. Venture and Spark Miles cardholders receive a discounted rate of $45 per visit, while non-cardholders pay $90. Children under two enter free. The lounge welcomes visitors with same-day boarding passes up to three hours before departure. Capital One plans further expansion in the New York area with a Capital One Landing at LGA's Terminal B. This new lounge at JFK represents a significant investment and commitment to enhancing the travel experience for Capital One cardholders.
